Sewer Services
Trenchless repair, line replacement, HD camera diagnostics, and routine maintenance — no-dig options when the line allows, upfront pricing always.
Trusted Sewer Services Across Southern California
When the main sewer line fails, every drain in the building stops working. Reliable Pros Services has been the team Southern California homeowners and property managers call for sewer repair, replacement, and inspection across Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties for over two decades.
Older neighborhoods still run on clay-tile or cast-iron lines that develop root intrusions, hairline cracks, and offsets — and 1950s Orangeburg pipe is now collapsing under its own weight. Every job starts the same way: we run an HD camera down the line, show you the footage, and price the repair before a shovel touches dirt.
When the line allows it, trenchless rehabilitation keeps your driveway, lawn, and hardscape intact. When it doesn’t, we pull permits, coordinate inspection, and restore the site before we leave. For active backups right now, our 24/7 emergency response gets a crew on-site fast.
The Full Range of Sewer Services, Under One Roof
Targeted solutions our licensed Southern California pros handle every day — every job done right the first time, with up-front pricing and a written warranty.
Trenchless Sewer Repair
Cured-in-place lining and pipe bursting restore your sewer through small access points — no full-yard excavation, no broken driveway, no destroyed landscaping.
Sewer Line Replacement
When a line is past lining, we replace it with modern PVC or HDPE. Permits pulled, county inspection coordinated, hardscape and lawn restored before we leave.
Sewer Camera Inspection
HD push cameras locate cracks, root intrusions, bellies, and offsets to within a few feet. You see the footage; we deliver a clean diagnosis and fair quote.
Sewer Line Cleaning
Hydro jetting at 3,500–4,000 PSI scours grease, scale, and root mass off pipe walls. Far more thorough than cabling — restores full flow and prevents the next backup.
Sewer Maintenance
Scheduled annual camera + jetting visits for older homes, restaurants, and multi-unit properties. Catches small issues before they become emergency calls.
Sewer Services — Answered
What homeowners across LA, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties ask us most often. Have another question? Call or write — a real human always answers.
What is trenchless sewer repair and is my line a candidate?
Trenchless repair restores your sewer line through one or two small access points instead of a continuous trench. We use either cured-in-place pipe lining (a resin-saturated sleeve cured inside the existing pipe) or pipe bursting (a head that fragments the old pipe while pulling a new one through). Most clay-tile, cast-iron, and PVC residential lines are good candidates — heavily collapsed, fully offset, or sharply bellied lines usually need traditional replacement. The camera inspection tells us definitively, and we always show you the footage before recommending an approach.
How long does a typical sewer line replacement take?
A residential trenchless job is usually a single day — start to finish. A traditional open-trench replacement on a standard suburban property runs one to three days depending on length of the line, depth, and what hardscape we have to cut through and restore. Commercial jobs and lines that cross under driveways or city sidewalks take longer because of permitting, traffic control, and inspection scheduling.
Do I need a permit for sewer work in Southern California?
Yes — any sewer line replacement, partial replacement, or trenchless rehab inside the property line generally requires a plumbing permit from the local building department, plus a separate encroachment permit if the work touches the public right-of-way. We pull all permits in your name, coordinate the inspection, and hand you the signed-off paperwork at the end. The permit cost is line-itemed in your quote, never marked up.
How often should I have my sewer line inspected?
For homes over 30 years old, every two to three years is a smart cadence — older clay or Orangeburg pipe shifts and develops root intrusions long before you'll notice slow drains. Restaurants and properties with mature trees in the line's path benefit from an annual inspection. If you're buying a home, always insist on a sewer scope as part of the inspection — it's a few hundred dollars that can save five figures in surprise repairs.
Do you offer financing for major sewer repairs?
Yes. Full sewer replacements and trenchless rehabs qualify for our financing partner's promotional terms (subject to credit approval), including 0%-interest plans for shorter terms and extended fixed-rate plans up to 84 months. We'll send you the application before any work starts so you know the monthly payment before you commit. For approved jobs, we can typically have terms confirmed the same day.
